Julie and Seth were married on a rainy and windy June day on Block Island, but they embraced the weather and even held their ceremony outside at the Block Island’s grand Spring House Hotel–it was wonderful!

These two are getting married Friday at Kinney Bungalow at Sunset Farm in Narragansett, RI, and when we got together to discuss some wedding details, we took a few impromptu photos in downtown Westerly, RI. They are so sweet and kind and compassionate with each other I just know their day will be a delight. Looking forward to their big day!
A fun note for photographers: I used Get Totally Rad’s Rad Lab to edit these photos, the very first ones I’ve done with this amazing new Photoshop plug-in, and I LOVE this tool. I cannot wait to spend some more time working with it, and I highly recommend checking it out.

Somehow my first born baby boy has turned into a seven-year-old boy today. I had to poke through these photos tonight—I don’t know if any parent can ever stop looking for the baby and toddler and small child that came before–I know I can barely picture that little one when I see my seven-year old swim out to the dock tonight!
The day started EARLY (this kid cannot WAIT for presents) and with Legos on the scene, all was good. (Also, tetherball, new watercolors and a few other goodies were all well received). Waffles, fresh raspberries picked yesterday and whipped cream for breakfast, Legos all morning, art camp in the afternoon and a picnic dinner at the beach with pizza, crabbing, boogie boarding and swimming to the dock made for a picture perfect day.
Will, we love your enthusiasm and spirit, your zest and energy, your artistic and athetic sides, your love of words, your long lashes and those deep brown eyes, among so many other things. We love you, baby boy–happy birthday!
Angela and Doug were married last month on Cape Cod at a divine, heartfelt ceremony on what turned into a gorgeous, early summer day. (See sneak peek here.) These two are so beautifully connected and SO in love that I think everyone around them feels a little more lovey-dovey than usual! Stephanie and Marcos came from New York last week to meet me in Providence, RI, home of their alma mater, Brown. It was the kind of summer night you just dream of–warm, sunny and going on forever. These two shared a picnic, an iced coffee at Starbucks on Thayer Street and some great nostalgic moments on the green.

Just a peek for a June bride! Meghan and Ben were married on an amazing June day amidst the lush greens of Tamarack Country Club in Greenwich, CT last Saturday, and these two, born days apart and friends since second grade, made the celebration worth the wait.
