The Merry Month of May

Happy May Day!

Image from Will’s nursery school May Day walk, taken today as 16 nursery-schoolers hung May baskets on houses throughout the village. Wouldn’t you like to come to find that hanging on your door?

Wishing you a day of unexpected surprises, too.

What a great idea. Kindergarten teachers (preschool whatever…) are the BEST!

  9. ChiaLynn Says:

Oh, that’s a wonderful idea. I have some vague memory of a Maypole, at the tiny private school I went to through 3rd grade, but nothing like this. (Of course, there’s nothing to stop me filing this away somewhere in the deep recesses of my brain and pulling it out next year – I don’t need a preschooler to make bouquets for my neighbors!)

I remember being a little one and leaving one of these on my grandmother’s door and thinking how awesome it was that I was doorbell ditching!!! πŸ™‚
